With over twenty years experience including grooming to show standards, Sarah is able to groom your dog to any specification that you require. Every dog that arrives at Gladwags Grooming is treated as an individual and is dealt with personally by Sarah from arrival to collection and all stages in between. Only one dog is groomed at a time with a maximum of four dogs in one day, so each dog will benefit from our quiet, calm, low stress environment. Our grooming options are as follows: Full GroomYour dog will enjoy a luxury shampoo and conditioning treatment using high quality hypoallergenic products specifically formulated for their skin and hair type. A full hand blow dry by Sarah will follow this, then she will carry out any bespoke requirements by the customer from ear plucking, nail clipping, anal glands, ear clean, eye clean. Your dog is then clipped and hand scissored into the hair style specified by yourself. Finally a spray of dog perfume is added to ensure your best friend smells wonderful. Priced from £40 Shampoo, Blow-Dry & De-ShedYour dog will enjoy a luxury shampoo and conditioning treatment as above, then a full hand blow dry and matt removal process will follow, finally a spray of doggy perfume is applied for that final finish. Priced from £35 Puppy GroomIt is so very important that your new puppy is introduced to grooming procedures at a young age to ensure it is an enjoyable positive experience that they will look forward to. Sarah recommends that the first session is after the second vaccination but really needs to be before 16 weeks old. The first visit will just consist of her giving puppy lots of fuss and praise, a little brush and maybe a brief scissor clip if required, she will check ears and teeth and just make sure puppy is happy with being handled around all those areas, we will have a short introduction to the dryer and turn on the electric clippers and let puppy smell everything, then we will finish on lots of praise and a little treat (if its OK with mum or dad). The sessions will build up gradually over a few weeks if Sarah deems that necessary. As some puppies are fine with everything at the first session, on these occasions further puppy grooms* are only required at the owners request.
